We are pleased to announce the promotion of our Mr Andy Gan Kok Jin to the position of Senior Associate with effect from 1 September 2025.
Andy has 4 years of PQE in dispute resolution, with experience spanning a wide range of civil and commercial disputes as well as arbitration. His areas of specialisation include construction disputes, land matters, judicial review, contractual and corporate disputes, as well as industrial relations. He advises prominent corporate clients on diverse legal issues and is a regular contributor to leading legal publications, including the International Comparative Legal Guides (ICLG) and Lexology.

We are pleased to announce the promotion of our Mr Daniel Liew Sheng Yang, Ms Samantha Siow San San, and Mr Lucas Chong Wan Jien to the position of Senior Associate with effect from 1 July 2025.
Daniel has 4 years of PQE in a wide practice area in both civil and criminal litigation. His practice spans a diverse range of sectors including construction, bankruptcy and insolvency, family and estate matters, and commercial transaction disputes. He also has experience dealing with criminal matters involving fraud and serious drug trafficking offences. Daniel’s current practice primarily focuses on construction law. He regularly acts in adjudication proceedings under CIPAA, as well as in arbitration and court litigation involving construction disputes.
Samantha has 4 years PQE in a broad range of practice areas, including corporate and commercial disputes as well as intellectual property. She has frequently published articles on well-known publications such as Malayan Law Journal Articles, The Legal 500, and Tax Guardian Malaysia, and has contributed to Malaysian Court Practice – Appellate Courts (Issue 40).
Lucas was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2020. His current area of practice revolves around litigation matters relating to public law, development and planning law, insolvency and tenancy disputes.

He regularly appears in the High Court for hearings and trials and in the Court of Appeal and Federal Court for high value appeals.
