Toh Kai Chuen

Kai Chuen was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court in Malaya on 5 January 2018 and joined the firm’s Corporate, Commercial & Conveyancing team in September 2019 as an Associate before being promoted to a Senior Associate in July 2023.

Her experience includes legal due diligence in aid of domestic and cross-border acquisitions, negotiating and drafting transactional documents, advising on regulatory compliance in the areas of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing, exchange control, moneylending, online gambling and personal data protection. She has been involved in corporate and commercial matters relating to a range of industries such as agriculture, education, healthcare as well as telecommunication and regularly handles land-related transactions.

She is fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
