How Chen Hee commenced her legal career as a pupil at CTS and continues her practice with the firm. • An appeal arising from a landmark commercial fraud case, where the appellate court affirmed findings of liability for fraud, conspiracy to defraud, breaches of fiduciary and statutory duties, and the misappropriation of approximately USD27 million.
• Contractual disputes involving clients across various industries, including industrial gases supply, logistics and construction sectors.
• A minority oppression action involving a public listed company, which resulted in a winding-up order being granted against the defendant company.
• Proceedings involving a construction company and successfully obtaining a Fortuna Injunction to restrain the enforcement of a statutory demand arising from an alleged debt under a consultancy services agreement.
