Daniel Liew Sheng Yang

Daniel Liew Sheng Yang joined CTS in February 2024 and was promoted to Senior Associate in July 2025. He has 5 years of post-qualification experience in both civil and criminal litigation. His practice covers a range of areas including construction, bankruptcy and insolvency, family and estate matters, as well as debt recovery and general commercial disputes. He has also acted in criminal matters involving fraud and serious drug trafficking offences.

Daniel’s current practice focuses on construction law. He regularly acts in adjudication proceedings under the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012 (CIPAA), as well as in arbitration and court litigation arising from construction-related matters. He is experienced in handling complex matters involving multiple parties and stakeholders.

He is fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, and has conversational proficiency in Cantonese.
