Some of the notable matters Cliff has been involved in are as follows:

  • Assisted in obtaining summary judgment in a breach of contract claim involving RM16 million.
  • Assisted the team acting for the successful defendants in resisting contempt proceedings before the High Court.
  • Assisted in defending an investment bank in a High Court claim for breach of trust and negligence, including opposing the plaintiff’s discovery application at the pre-trial stage.
  • Assisted in successfully resisting applications for a stay of execution before both the High Court and the Court of Appeal.

Cliff is fluent in English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, Cantonese, and Hokkien.
